DealCloser Connects with Harvey, Helping Lawyers Turn Legal Analysis into Action

Lawyers can access transaction context and execute closing tasks without leaving Harvey, extending DealCloser’s existing AI-powered workflows.

LONDON — 5 November 2026 — DealCloser, the AI-powered transaction management platform, today announced an integration with Harvey, the leading operating system for legal and professional services, making the integration generally available through Harvey’s Connector Library. Built using the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the connection supports both read and write capabilities, enabling lawyers to access DealCloser transaction data and take approved actions directly from Harvey.

The connection brings together two complementary parts of the legal workflow. Harvey supports research, drafting, due diligence and document review, while DealCloser manages the people, documents, responsibilities, approvals, signatures and other activities required to move a transaction through closing.

For firms using both platforms, the result is a more connected way to work. Lawyers can use Harvey to analyze transaction information and then act on those findings in DealCloser, reducing the manual handoff between legal analysis and transaction execution while keeping the deal managed in the platform purpose-built for closing.

“Lawyers should not have to choose between powerful legal AI and the specialist tools they rely on to manage a deal,” said Jag Dhariwal, CEO of DealCloser. “The opportunity is to make those tools work better together, so lawyers can spend less time transferring information and repeating administrative work, and more time moving the transaction forward.”

From understanding the deal to executing the work

Through the connection, lawyers working in Harvey can:

  • Build and maintain closing checklists. Use Harvey to identify closing requirements in transaction documents, create checklists in DealCloser and update existing ones without copying information between platforms.

  • See what needs attention. Review deal information, checklist progress, outstanding requirements and signature status to understand what is complete and what still needs to happen.

  • Turn findings into assigned work. Translate requirements identified during document review, such as third-party consents, into checklist items and tasks with clear responsibilities.

  • Surface insights to streamline negotiations. Identify negotiation trends across document versions, matters and opposing counsel to help firms reach agreement faster.

For example, a lawyer reviewing an acquisition agreement in Harvey can compare its closing requirements with the existing DealCloser checklist, identify a missing approval, and direct Harvey to add a task and assign responsibility. The team can then track that work alongside the rest of the transaction rather than maintaining a separate list or manually recreating the findings.

“Harvey’s Connector Library brings the core tools legal teams rely on into one place,” said Nate Schlein, Head of Product Business Development at Harvey. “With DealCloser now part of it, joint customers can get the full value of both platforms without switching between them.”

Connected tools, one place to manage the transaction

Closing a transaction requires far more than document review. Legal teams must coordinate people, documents, approvals, signatures, deadlines and other requirements that can vary significantly by transaction type, firm, practice group and jurisdiction.

DealCloser is purpose-built to manage that complexity. Connecting Harvey to this environment brings legal AI into established deal workflows rather than requiring firms to recreate their transaction management processes in another application.

Building on AI customers already use

The Harvey connector builds on DealCloser’s existing AI capabilities, including Cloe, its built-in AI Deal Assistant for routine transaction tasks, as well as the ability to embed AI-powered document review and analysis directly into transaction workflows. It gives firms using Harvey another way to connect legal AI with their transaction workflows, helping them get more value from the tools they already use while reducing the manual work required to move between them.

Every connector in Harvey’s Connector Library is vetted by Harvey’s Security & Trust team before becoming available to customers. For security and compliance details, visit Harvey’s Trust Center.
